David Bowie, 1974
David Bowie, 1974
PHOTOGRAPHER: TERRY O’NEILL
In this 1974 photograph part of the “Yellow Mustard Suit” series in Los Angeles, David Bowie poses leaning back, eyes closed and lips pursed as if dancing to music we can’t hear. He wears a tailored Freddie Burretti suit with a striped collared shirt underneath and suspenders, a polished look becomes light and flamboyant on Bowie.
