This portrait was shot in Lagos at Lasalvy studios and features model Precious Arediamen. There is a quality of avant-gardism in this black and white photograph as it plays with a juxtaposition of textures between the models smooth shaved head and the curled, shaggy fabric of the jacket. The image takes focus on form and shape as the deep contrast of the black and white shadows produces an intriguing silhouette, the light grey negative space around the head delineates its shape in clean, curved lines.
