Normandy Inspire, 1994
PHOTOGRAPHER: ANDRÉ CARRARA
This image was shot in 1994 for Marie Claire Bis. A couple captured while strolling in an empty landscape, walking up towards a mansion, once owned by a writer. The viewer may feel like an intruder, as both look like they’ve just been caught unexpectedly, while what may have been an escape.
With clear cinematographic atmosphere referring to Hitchcock Psycho movie, this image contains some of the artist’s favorite theme with a solid narrative feel, black and white contrasts and on location-based shots.
